Brian Kim is an assistant professor of materials science and engineering and physics at the University of Arizona. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 2018 and was a postdoctoral research scientist at Columbia University from 2018 to 2023. His research interests include designing and engineering low-dimensional quantum materials and heterostructures from the atomic level to the system level for a new generation of electronic, photonic and quantum technologies.
